Letter To My Friends and Family

Dear Friends and Family,

I started Lunch Bunch 9 years ago and each year my dedication to our community by ending hunger grows stronger. This year I have served more than 1,000 meals to the homeless and hungry of Los Angeles. Thank you for your continued support over the years! I am writing to share more exciting news with you, also an upcoming community event.

It is with great excitement I announce the new site with events, resources, recipes, picture gallery and more has launched! Check out www.LunchBunch.org and be sure to leave a comment of what you think.There are updates daily and suggestions are welcome.

In the works is a community lunch event at the end of July. The event will include lunch, toiletries and more; these items are currently being collected. Recently I have seen an influx of homeless in the Sunland-Tujunga, Sun Valley area and felt an event to provide necessities, that is open to all is needed. This is also a way for those that would like to volunteer or join us for a positive day to be included. More details will be announced later this week.

With the upcoming event as well as needed weekly items I have made donating to Lunch Bunch easy; all you need is your phone! See what items are being collected by checking the site or social media. In place is also a helpful feature to online schedule a time and date for the items to be picked up at your convenience or order online off the Amazon wish list. There is even an easy set up for Venmo or monthly Paypal contributions, if sending monetary donations works best for you. Click on www.LunchBunch.org/support to show your support.

Thank you again for being with LB and with me on this nine year amazing ride. It has been a privilege and joy, but could not be accomplished alone. I do continue to need your help and support. Please share this information with your friends and family, they may need resource information, love local events or would like to donate or sponsor. Lunch Bunch takes a lot work, but the reward of a safer, healthier, supportive community is truly a great reward.
